Fort Walton Beach is one of my favorite vacation spots. It's quiet, relaxing and a great place for families. There is so much to see and do. You have the beach, the museums, shopping and great restaurants. The location is perfect for me; Fort Walton Beach is about the same distance from Atlanta as any of the east coast beaches - but much more beautiful. Needless to say, I'm a big fan!

I'm Melissa, from Houston, Texas and I have to share my amazing experience over at the Sea Oats condos in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. I stayed at the condos in June 2006 with my husband and my toddler son and stayed in a beautiful two bed/two bath condo overlooking, not only the pool, but a magnificent white sand, crystal blue beach (coming from Houston I had no idea gulf beaches could be so spectacular)! I absolutely loved having these beach front accommodations, as it made for extremely easy toddler travel (a quick walk) to and from the beach and during kiddo nap time even allowed my husband and I to stay in walkie-talkie range while one of us stayed in the condo with a napping child and the other was relaxing the beach. The beach front location, the close proximity to shops, restaurants and grocery stores, the full kitchen, the spaciousness of the condo, and the comfortable furnishings made this particular beach trip so wonderful that we plan on going back this coming summer!

Being from South Florida, and having traveled to many places, I thought I had seen it all. I was wrong. With it's alluring emerald green waters and fine powdery white sand, Fort Walton Beach is a sight to behold! Our stay in unit 705 treated us to a wonderful celestial spectacle each day, at dawn AND dusk, as the sun rose and sank across the horizon in magnificent splendor. The condo itself was very beautiful and well appointed, and we loved having all the comforts of home, especially the Internet access and full kitchen. I can't believe that for about the price of a hotel room, we got so much more by renting your condo.

To anyone looking for a wholesome place for a fun-filled family vacation, you can't go wrong with Fort Walton and the Sea Oats resort. I recommend it without a second's hesitation. Thanks for a great time!

Fort Walton Beach has many great things to offer. I love the fact that the Pier is just a 10 minute walk from the condo. The restaurant there is great, and the view is too; I saw both sea turtles and dolphins frolicking in the gulf – it was incredible! I also enjoyed walking across the street and renting a Pontoon Boat. You can fish or cruise the whole island. It’s a perfect activity for the whole family. Beside the islands incredible beauty, the southern hospitality at Sea Oats is incredible. I have made instant friends while relaxing at the pool.

Overall, this vacation spot is just a different world, and I love it!

Fort Walton Beach is a tranquil respite from the hustle and bustle of most Florida resort towns, such as Miami. When I'm there I love the miles of snow white, sun-drenched gulf beaches; many stretches remain undeveloped thanks to Eco-friendly environs of the Military neighbors. If one desires a faster pace, you just drive six miles to happening Destin.

I enjoyed a wonderful weekend stay at the Welsh condominium in Fort Walton Beach and wanted to offer a testimonial for my memorable visit. Of course Fort Walton offered me the ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle, and it was easy to enjoy the generous expanses of sugar white beaches, the invigorating walks along the beautiful emerald Gulf to some really neat nearby sites, or relaxation on a comfortable supplied beach chair right up on the Gulf's edge and under a radiant sun when I could take in a great read and the scintillating views. It was just as easy to enjoy the terrific amenities of their gulf-front condo, the tastefully appointed furnishings, soothing ambiance with great colors and comforts that surround, and of course, the balcony offering a gaping and breathtaking view of the Gulf that never ceased to inspire, by day or night. But as a personal friend of the Welsh family, I know what truly differentiates these condos from any other accommodation on the southern Coast is the extraordinary care with which the Welsh sisters thoughtfully nurture and maintain this ideal vacation spot at one of Florida's hidden treasures. I know if you visit either of their condos, you will appreciate all the special care and effort the Welsh sisters have put into their condos that will definitely make your vacation stay especially enjoyable!
